Sep. 13—The Baldwin County GOP will host several candidates running for state and national office this week and next month as guest speakers.

The program is slated for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Victory Baptist Church fellowship hall, 640 Meriwether Road, Milledgeville.

Guest speakers scheduled include:

* Jody Hice, candidate for secretary of state

* Vernon Jones, candidate for governor

* Tim Barr, U.S. House of Representatives Congressional District 10

The meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. Each candidate will be allotted 25 minutes to speak and to answer questions from the audience.

This will be the third month the Baldwin County GOP has hosted candidates.
