Candlelit Vigil Held for Rapper Fatally Shot at LA Restaurant

A candlelit vigil was held on September 12 outside the Los Angeles restaurant where rapper PnB Rock was fatally shot hours earlier.

The Philadelphia rapper, best known for his 2016 hit Selfish, was killed during a robbery at Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles in South Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Times said.

The rapper was with his girlfriend, who shared a geotagged photo in a since-deleted Instagram post, according to the LA Times.

Police said a suspect brandished a firearm inside the restaurant and demanded jewelry from the victim, before firing “multiple rounds”. Credit: @oskarg2k18 via Storyful
