Candy filled eggs falling from the sky is one of many Myrtle Beach area Easter activities

Whether your a local or from out of town visiting Myrtle Beach this Spring/Easter break you will find many events to enjoy.

Bring your family and friends there is sure to be something for everyone no matter what age.

Not only the miles of beautiful beaches, sunshine and the sound of waves to get you in vacation mode, we have many events going on this spring, sure to please all.

Conway Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Billy Gardner Sports Complex, 1515 Mill Pond Rd., Conway

When: Saturday, April 1

Time: Times are listed below by age group.

The City of Conway and recreation department is holding their annual Easter egg hunt. Egg hunt times vary in age groups so all children can enjoy: Ages 1-2: 11 am, Ages 3-5: 11:15 am, Ages 6-8: 11:30 am and Ages 9-12: 11:45 am.

Sensory Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Passive Park, 410Surfside Dr., Surfside Beach

When: Saturday. April 1

Time: 10 a.m.

A sensory Easter egg hunt for children with autism and special needs. The event will begin promptly at 10 a.m. and will be followed by Sensory Friendly at Surfside Beach Firehouse. Parents/Caregivers are to attend and asked to remain at the event until it is over.

Event is by Champion Autism Network.

Barefoot Bunny Hop

Where: Barefoot Landing, 4898 U.S. 17 S., N. Myrtle Beach

When: Saturday, April 1

Time: 11a.m. - 2 p.m.

The Barefoot Bunny Hop will have a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Parents please take pictures. There will be an Easter dance party, face painting and kids trivia in Dockside Village. I heard there are going to be some other characters and stilt walkers there also.

From 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. kids can visit “Chick or treat stations” at participating merchants where they will receive an egg or other treats, while supplies last. So pick up a bag with a map of the stations which Barefoot Landing representatives will be handing out.

Please have kids bring their Easter baskets to collect eggs and other treats from these “Chick or Treat” locations.

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Billy Gardner Sports Complex, 1515 Mill Pond Rd., Conway

When: Thursday, April 6

Time: 7 p.m. (Egg hunt starts at 7:45 p.m.

Bring your Easter basket and a flashlight? Yes, that is correct your flashlight will be needed to hunt for over 2,000 candy filled eggs. This event is free to the community ages 12 and up. Remember bring your Easter basket.

Easter Egg Drop

Where: Langston Baptist Church, 763 S.C. 905, Conway

When: Saturday, April 8

Time: 10 a.m.

35,000 Easter eggs filled with candy and other prizes will fall from the sky from a helicopter. There will be prizes, inflatables, food and more. Bring your friends and family to this memorable event.

41st Annual North Myrtle Beach Easter Egg Hunt

Where: McLean Park, 93 Oak Dr., N. Myrtle Beach

When: Saturday, April 8

Time: 10:00 a.m.

A special furry guest will be there at this event to hand out candy to all the kids. That’s right the Easter Bunny will be in N. Myrtle Beach. There will be a bunny photo hop, egg hunt divided by age groups: 2 and under, 3-4 years old, 5-6 years old, 7-8 years old, 9-10 years old, and 11 and over.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Where: Ripley’s Aquarium, 1110 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach

When: Saturday, April 8

Time: 8 a.m.

What could be more fun than breakfast with the Easter bunny and visiting the aquarium all in one trip? Hop on over to Ripley’s Aquarium for breakfast with the Easter bunny. A scavenger hunt, dancing with a dj, meeting a mermaid and learning about animals from an educator. For more details and to buy tickets click here

Lulu’s Easter Egg Dash

Where: Lulu’s, 4954 U.S. 17 S., N. Myrtle Beach

When: Sunday, April 9

Time: 2 p.m.

I’ve heard that the Easter bunny is going tropical and will be dressed that way. So hop on over to Lulu’s and join in this fun event with a free Easter dash on the beach on Easter Sunday. “Golden eggs” with special prizes inside will be scattered all around and kids will be divided by age groups, making it fun for all. There is also photo-op memories with the Easter bunny from 1 - 3 p.m.
