Cantina 1511 owner owes IRS $296K as restaurants remain shuttered
Outstanding federal tax liens are again stacking up for the owner of Cantina 1511.
One was filed in Mecklenburg County courts this month for $127,616.24. Quantum Development Charlotte owes quarterly unemployment and payroll taxes from July 2022 through October 2022.
Two additional liens date to January of this year, seeking a combined $168,677.54. They include outstanding taxes dating to various periods between December 2017 and June 2021.

In total, Quantum Development owes $296,293.78.
The liens are the latest obstacle facing Cantina 1511, which shuttered its remaining restaurants in Mooresville and at Park Road Shopping Center on Aug. 7.
