Cape Coral's Catch The Vision event to show off developments for 2024 and beyond

The 13th annual real estate show, Catch The Vision, returns to give residents a look at projects and developments slated for 2024 and beyond.

“We are excited that for the 13th year we are able to present an event which provides a look at the city’s future, what is changing in your neighborhood,” said event organizer Gloria Raso Tate in a news release issued Friday. “This event always attracts a tremendous crowd curious and excited about what is happening in our city.”

When and where?

The events are at Cape Christian, 2110 Chiquita Blvd. S., on Monday, March 18, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the program starting around 6:15 p.m.

Where to buy tickets?

Tickets for the event are on sale for $20 at www.catchthevisioncapecoral.com or on the Catch the Vision Facebook page.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Cape Coral Caring Center.

What will be shown off?

The press release said new and completed projects that will change the commercial, residential, and retail environment of the city will be featured.

Spotlight projects include the likes of The Cove at 47th, a new mixed-use development in downtown Cape Coral that will bring luxury living, new restaurants, and other amenities, and Bimini Square, which recently broke ground and will provide residents with waterfront dining, Lee Health Medical facilities, more luxury living, and other retail.

There also will be updates on major projects along or near Pine Island Road such as Victory Park, by Blue Waters Development Group, a master-planned development with a veterans’ centric lifestyles campus, workforce housing, retail, and a hotel.

What's new to this year's program?

For the first time, the city will provide an update on new parks provided by taxpayer money through the Go Bond, including Yellow Fever Creek Preserve, the first in the city to include a campground and many other future parks.

Lee County Commissioner Kevin Ruane will also provide an update on the new Cape Coral Bridge, expected to begin construction in 2026.

What about vendors?

Catch the Vision will include various vendors and non-profits from throughout Lee County.
