Capri Italian Bakery in Dearborn marks 50-year celebration with 50% off

Armed with soft pepperoni rolls dripping with cheese and fluffy, plump meatball sandwiches, that has been Capri bakery's formula for success.
A staple at 4832 Greenfield Rd. just north of Michigan Avenue in Dearborn, Capri has developed an almost cult-like following over the years, with customers, who grew up on their baked goods, driving from across the state.
To celebrate, Capri is offering a half-off discount on pizza, pepperoni rolls, baked goods and more (50% off to mark 50 years) on Dec. 1. There also will be contests, music, prizes and giveaways. The event runs 10 am. to 4 p.m.
