Captain Marvel star Brie Larson 'splits' from fiancé Alex Greenwald
Captain Marvel star Brie Larson has reportedly split from fiancé Alex Greenwald after being together for five years.
The Oscar-winner started dating Greenwald, who is the lead singer of band Phantom Planet, back in 2013, with the pair getting engaged in 2016.
However, according to E! News, the couple recently called off their engagement, with People first reporting the news.
Digital Spy has reached out to Larson's representatives for comment.

The last post the actress shared of the pair was in November, writing a Charlotte Bronte quote: "Happiness quite unshared can scarcely be called happiness; it has no taste."
Meanwhile, ahead of the release of Captain Marvel this year, Larson recently opened up about how she has avoided revealing spoilers for Avengers: Endgame.
"I just never wanted to feel like I was going to slip up or that I was going to say the wrong thing. I was like, 'I can't live with myself being the one that spoils something.' So I really just deleted it," the actress recalled.

"I tried my best to journal it if I want to recall it and go, 'Oh yeah, that was a crazy time'. And I'm excited when the movie comes out to finally be able to talk about it and go, 'Yes, this was crazy.'
"But my family doesn't know. I haven't talked to anybody about anything because I'm just a very diligent secret-keeper."
