Below Deck chefs have had their fair share of egg-related challenges over the years. But on Below Deck Mediterranean's October 11 episode, after chef Mathew Shea broke "like f--king 10 yolks" during breakfast service, he declared, "I reckon these eggs have put me over the edge."

On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen's episode the same night, the host asked Captain Sandy Yawn for her opinion on his intense reaction. "Talk to me about Chef Mat tonight," he said. "Have you ever seen a chef lose it over eggs like that?"

"No, I haven't," Sandy said, adding in part, "It explains a lot, you know, from the beginning of the season with him leaving and then quitting a second time."

Sandy also had thoughts on Mathew serving guests micro bull's blood after they specifically requested no beets on their preference sheets. During the episode, Mathew did a quick Google search following a guest's complaint, and, after telling the guest the dish did not contain beets, he admitted in an interview, "I f--cked up. I basically lied unintentionally."

On WWHL, Sandy said that Mathew handled the situation "poorly," explaining, "It's so interesting. I mean you Google it before not after, and well it was beet-based so she actually tasted beets and it was beets...I mean it wasn't actual beet, it was a beet lettuce."
