Osceola Police did not provide details on where or why the pursuit began. Police say the crash is still under investigation.

“It sounded like a bomb had went off. Like a real loud shotgun,” said Osceola resident Jermaine Davis. “I was in shock at first because I’m standing here like this just happened. Like didn’t nobody expect that.”

Neighbor Tammy McCanless says the impact of the car hitting the school made their house shake.

“I said ‘That sounds like somebody done got shot or there was a wreck,’ because it wasn’t even a second I heard sirens coming,” McCanless said.
