Car gets stuck under semitruck on I-405 near Bellevue
The three left lanes of northbound Interstate 405 near Coal Creek Parkway were closed Wednesday morning after a car got stuck under a semitruck, Washington State Patrol announced.
WSDOT first tweeted about the incident at 10:45 a.m.
The crash was cleared by noon, though the traffic backup extended for as long as three miles.
WSP said the driver of the car caused the crash. There were no major injuries.
CLEARED: The collision I-405 northbound just south of Coal Creek Parkway in #Bellevue has cleared. The off-ramp to Coal Creek is partially blocked, so keep your eyes up for emergency crews as you exit. There is also about a 3-mile backup, so expect delays. pic.twitter.com/DsrGuDG3sb
