First responders were dispatched at approximately 1:40 a.m. to the intersection of Salem Avenue and Harvard Boulevard, according to the Miami Valley Dispatch page.

Initial reports claimed that a vehicle crashed into Grace United Methodist Church with a possible entrapment. However, the car instead crashed into a tree that “took the brunt force” and caused minimal damage to the church, crews at the scene stated.

Additional crews, including medics, and the entrapment call were cancelled, Montgomery County dispatch confirmed.

No life-threatening injuries were reported.

County dispatch did not have the cause of the accident immediately available.
