Car park at Juventus' home stadium becomes testing centre

Italian military personnel on Friday (November 13) set up a drive-in COVID-19 testing centre outside the Juventus Stadium as COVID-19 infections dramatically surge across the country.

Military medical staff will support civil health workers carrying out nasal and oral swabs on car drivers who will have to wait just 15 minutes to know the result of the test.

Testing centres throughout Italy have been struggling to cope with the numbers of people trying to attain swabs and ascertain if they are infected with the virus. Queues of cars have been waiting outside centres with people sometimes queuing for some six hours before being seen to.
