UPDATE: Woman injured after car crashes through Dollar General in Clark County
A woman was taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a Dollar General in Clark County Tuesday.

Emergency crews were called to respond to the crash at the business located on S. Dayton-Lakeview Road around 9:50 a.m., according to initial reports.

When deputies arrived on scene the car was still in the middle of the front door, Bethel Township Fire Chief Jim Snyder told News Center 7.
A woman and her child were leaving the store when the crash happened, Snyder said. She was taken to an area hospital for leg injuries.
The driver of the vehicle stated she thought she hit the brake pedal when she actually hit the gas pedal and went through the doors, according to Snyder.
