Car Used To Share Anti-Semitic Flyers In South FL Found: Police

MIAMI BEACH, FL — A rental vehicle associated with the distribution of antisemitic flyers throughout Miami Beach overnight Sunday has been found, police said.

The hate-filled flyers falsely claimed that Jewish people orchestrated the public health response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CNN reported.

The flyers were distributed across South Florida, in communities in both Broward and Miami-Dade counties, Local 10 News said.

Similar flyers were distributed in Colorado, Wisconsin, Texas, California and Maryland, according to reports.

The Miami Beach Police Department collected 205 flyers that were left at homes in the area, the agency shared on Facebook.

Patrols have increased in Miami Beach neighborhoods and at religious institutions in the community.

“There is no place for hate in our community and it will not be tolerated,” police said.

Anyone who has received a flyer is asked to call Miami Beach police at 305-673-7901.
