New car wash company ModWash to open location off East Main Street in Ashland

ASHLAND - Dirt being moved between Stonecreek Dental and Chipolte off East Main Street will be the new site of ModWash.

Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Hutton, a real estate, development and investment firm launched the new car wash company called ModWash in 2020, with plans to open 100 locations by 2023.

“It is a new ModWash Express Car Wash,” Ashland Mayor Matt Miller said. “They are preparing the whole site because they do expect to develop it further.”

Current Ohio locations include single buildings in Kent, Medina and Sheffield with Youngstown having three ModWash sites.

There are seven other Ohio towns with ModWash construction currently underway and 10 other locations (including Ashland) listed as “coming soon.”
