Cara Delevingne and Kaia Gerber Now Have Matching “Solemate” Foot Tattoos

• Kaia Gerber, Cara’s BFF, shared a pic of herself and Cara together in honor of the big day, and she revealed they have matching foot tattoos.

If you ride hard for your bestie, there’s a good chance you’ve done at least one of the following: (1) gone on a girls’ trip together, (2) done an FBI-worthy social media deep dive on their crush, (3) *maybe* bought multiple pairs of the same underwear if you do all your lingerie shopping together…I could go on, really. But best friendship takes on a whole new meaning when you and your BFF hit up a tattoo parlor and get permanent body ink, kinda like Cara Delevingne and Kaia Gerber did!

In celebration of Cara’s 28th birthday, Kaia hopped on Instagram and wished her a big fat happy birthday in her Stories. Of the many pictures Kaia shared, she made sure to post one of her and Cara’s matching BFF tattoo, writing, “Happy birthday to my solemate.” Take a guess on where they placed it.

If it seems like Cara and Kaia became besties out of nowhere, here’s a quick explainer on their girlmance: At the beginning of March, Kaia and Cara were spotted out for a stroll along with Margaret Qualley, Tommy Dorfman, and Cara’s ex Ashley Benson, and they seem to have gotten close ever since. Of course, they’re both models, so they probably became acquainted through the industry like all beautiful rich people do.

While this tattoo seems like a BFD, here’s a friendly reminder that Cara doesn’t have a matching tattoo only with Kaia—she also shares another BFF tattoo (a script “DD” on her torso) with model Jourdan Dunn.
