Cardi B files for divorce from Offset after three years of marriage
Cardi B wants to go solo.
The hip hop superstar filed for divorce from rapper Offset, according to published reports.
The two have been married for three years and have a 2-year-old daughter named Kulture Kiari.
The Grammy Award winner — whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar — has gone through the motions with the platinum selling lyricist —whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus. He was at the center of a cheating scandal after rumors of a video and alleged liaison with another woman surfaced in December 2017, just three months after the couple had secretly tied the knot.
Cardi B previously confirmed in December 2018 that they were calling it quits but Offset publicly pleaded with his wife for forgiveness after admitting to infidelity.
The pair agreed to work on things for the sake of their daughter.
