Cardinal Mooney Catholic, Riverview High hold signing days for student/athletes

Four Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School student-athletes signed national letters of intent Wednesday in the Gail Baird Learning Center.
HEADING TO TEXAS A&M Cardinal Mooney's JR Rosenberg taking his football talents to Texas A&M
JR Rosenberg will be attending Texas A&M to play football for the Aggies. Rosenberg was a four-year varsity player and captain during his junior and senior seasons. Rosenberg also participated on the boys weightlifting team where he finished third in the Class 1A meet in his junior and senior years. He plans to pursue a degree in Business with a major in Finance.
FOOTBALL OVER BASEBALL Cardinal Mooney's Jack McKinnon changes mind, opts for Michigan football over USF baseball
Jack MacKinnon will be attending the University of Michigan to play football for the Wolverines. He was a varsity captain in both football and baseball. MacKinnon started all four years in both sports and will graduate with a 4.2 GPA. He plans to pursue a degree in Business.
Kate Ruona is signing with Florida State University in the fall and will be on the track and field and cross country teams. Ruona was named All-South Jersey Cross Country Team and Burlington County All-County Team prior to attending Cardinal Mooney. Ruona finished 11th at the FHSAA Class 2A State Cross Country Meet. She will pursue a degree in Business.
Sean Laureano will sign with Rollins College to continue playing lacrosse. He is a four-year starter and a two-year captain on the lacrosse team. Laureano was a Herald-Tribune All-Area member as well as an Under Armor All-American nominee. Additionally, he was the Class President for two years. He plans to participate in the Accelerated Management Program at Rollins where his goal is to graduate with his Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Business Administration.
Riverview High signing day
A dozen student/athletes at Riverview High signed their letters of intent Wednesday at the high school.
Girls basketball: Jaida Cunningham, University of Hartford, Krystal Montas, Oberlin College, Sami Slusarek, N.Y.A.K.
Football: Damarcus Abner, Lake Erie College, Donta Abner, Lake Erie College, Deshaun Olave, Lake Erie College, Stone Springman, University of Miami, Scoota Trotman, Lake Erie College
Swimming: Bergen Leach, Gardner Webb University
Tennis: Maggie Barnett, University of Northwestern Ohio
Track and field: Haley Carlin, Beloit College, Jayden Tarohockor, Nebraska Wesleyan
