Cardinals bring back CB Antonio Hamilton on 1-year contract

The Arizona Cardinals have finally addressed the cornerback room in free agency. After seeing Byron Murphy sign with the Minnesota Vikings and non-tendering Jace Whittaker, the team announced it agreed to terms with cornerback Antonio Hamilton on a one-year contract to return for a third season.

Last season, Hamilton played in 10 games, starting five. He had 44 tackles, five pass breakups and an interception.

He entered the season as the starter after playing very well in training camp, only to suffer serious burns in a kitchen accident, missing the first four games of the season.

Hamilton currently projects as a starter along with Marco Wilson.
