Cardinals lose both starting guards in first half vs. Jaguars

The Arizona Cardinals entered the weekend injuries on the offensive line. Entering the second half of their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, they lost both their starting guards.

Justin Murray started at right guard. Kelvin Beachum was inactive with a rib injury. Josh Jones, who had been the starting right guard, started at tackle, his natural position, and Murray got the start at guard.

He left the game late in the first half and was replaced by Max Garcia.

On the final play of the first half, when Jamal Agnew returned Matt Prater’s missed 68-yard field goal attempt for a touchdown, starting left guard Justin Pugh had to be helped off the field.

At the start of the second half, the team announced both were questionable to return with back injuries.

Sean Harlow, signed from the practice squad on Saturday, replaced Pugh.
