The Arizona Cardinals’ season is over, as they lost in the first round of the playoffs 34-11 to the Los Angeles Rams. The offseason officially begins and their spot in the NFL draft is set.

With the first round of the playoffs done, the top 24 picks in the first round are set.

The Cardinals, who have the second-best record among those teams that are no longer in the playoffs, will pick 23rd. The Dallas Cowboys, who also were eliminated over the weekend, had a better record than the Cardinals at 12-5, so will pick after them.

The Cardinals are the only team in the NFC with a first-round selection in the draft. The other three teams all previously traded them away for players or picks.

The Cardinals have five picks in the upcoming draft. They traded away their fifth-round pick to acquire tight end Zach Ertz. They used this year’s fourth-round selection to move up in the draft last year to select cornerback Marco Wilson.

These are the rounds in which they have picks.

  • Round 1

  • Round 2

  • Round 3

  • Round 6

  • Round 7

They are projected to receive as many as three compensatory picks as well.
