Cardinals sign 15 players to future contracts for 2022 season

Cardinals management followed up on coach Kliff Kingsbury’s Tuesday statement to reporters that it will immediately begin evaluating its roster after their Wild Card playoff loss Monday night to the Los Angeles Rams.

The Cardinals announced their first set of off-season roster moves Wednesday, signing 15 players to future contracts for the 2022 season.

They are: wide receiver Andre Baccellia; cornerbacks Breon Borders, Nate Brooks and Jace Whittaker; defensive lineman Matt Dickerson; Linebacker Joe Walker; offensive linemen Danny Isidora, Koda Martin, and Eric Smith; tight ends Deon Yelder, Bernhard Seikovits, David Wells, and Alex Ellis; running back Jaylen Samuels; and safety Javon Hagan.

Yelder and Samuels are the team’s new additions.
