CareerLink offering digital literacy course

Sep. 12—CareerLink Lackawanna County will offer a free digital literacy course later this month to help residents improve their computer skills, said Cathy Gerard, site administrator for the center.

The eight-week program will feature classes Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the center, 135 Franklin Ave., Gerard said.

The program will provide lessons on computer knowledge, how to prepare for job searching and interviews, email essentials, online security standards, and Microsoft programs.
