Cargo resupply spacecraft arrives at International Space Station

A Northrop Grumman Cygnus resupply spacecraft arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday (February 18), carrying more than 8,000 pounds (3,628 kg) of cargo.

The station was flying over southeastern Russia when it was capture.

In addition to supplies, the ship also brought support for new science investigations, among them, "how microgravity affects human physiology," according to NASA.
