The Caribbean could possible see a tropical depression inside of 24 hours

Tracking Invest 91-L in the eastern Caribbean Sea. Air Force reconnaissance aircraft morning mission to observe this potential development, found that the center is not well defined. Located now over the far eastern Caribbean Sea, the system is producing a large area of showers and thunderstorms across the southern Windward Islands. Over the next day or so,91-L will track westward nearing northern South American coastal areas. This type of friction with land could briefly weaken development potential. Warmer water in this region is in the range of 87-89° which is extremely conducive for re-development -- which could introduce a tropical depression into the area. Heavy rain and storms, strong winds and storm surge would bring flash flooding and damage. The timing for development is now two to three days for the south-central Caribbean Sea.
