Carl's Jr. is jumping aboard the CBD train. To celebrate 4/20-you know, National Weed Day-the chain is infusing its signature Santa Fe Sauce with Cannabidiol. The ultra-trendy non-psychoactive cannabis compound that's been praised for relieving anxiety, chronic pain, nausea, and muscle spasms. So, now you can accomplish all of the above AND curb your cheeseburger craving. It's a win, win.

The Rocky Mountain High: CheeseBurger Delight (get it, CBD?!), which is available April 20 and only April 20, is reportedly the first fast food item to include CBD. And though the company has called the limited-edition menu add a one-time thing, I have a hunch it's returning. It's bound to be a hit, but also, they sort of implied it. Senior vice president of brand marketing, Patty Trevino, voiced her enthusiasm to be "testing CBD-infused options."

“The [CBD Cheeseburger] ties back to our core strategy of being the first to bring bold and unexpected flavors that are at the forefront of hot restaurant trends to a quick service menu," Trevino said in a statement. "From our early introduction into plant-based options to bringing the rare indulgence of truffles to our menu with the new Bacon Truffle Angus Burger, our customers have come to expect innovative and unique menu offerings."

The CheeseBurger Delight-yes, the name is a play on CBD-features two charbroiled beef patties, pickled jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, Crisscut fries, and that Cannabidiol-infused Santa Fe sauce. Side effects include extreme happiness, full stomachs, and ultimate relaxation.

The launch is not only a limited run, it's also hitting just a single location: The 4050 Colorado Boulevard location in Denver. Beginning 6 a.m. MT, Colorado customers can score the chill cheeseburger for $4.20 while supplies last.
