Last summer, Santana was midway through a July 5 Pine Knob concert when he cut a song short, made his way to a drum riser and slumped over. He was hospitalized overnight at McLaren Clarkston, and his team said he had suffered dehydration and heat exhaustion.
Santana, 75, has been a regular at Pine Knob through the decades: This summer's concert will be his 30th at the venue.
