Carol Vorderman shows off her curves in swimsuit snap

Carol Vorderman has set pulses racing once again by sharing a picture of herself in a swimsuit.

The new snap posted on Instagram shows the former Countdown star in a red swimming costume with a mesh panel over the shoulder.

The 60-year-old wears flip-flops, sunglasses and a brief sarong in the summery image, which was taken after she enjoyed a paddleboarding adventure.

The picture went down a storm with the TV star's fans.

Many posted messages online saying that Vorderman was “beautiful” and looked “hot” and that the picture had made their day.

“Love you in red!” posted one fan, while another exclaimed: “Just… WOW!”

“Figure of LIFE .. looking lush,” gushed another fan.

One of Vorderman’s followers said they could not believe that the star is 60, asking: “Are you kidding me?”

Vorderman has amassed a huge fan base of 113,000 followers on Instagram, where she has often posted pictures of herself in tight-fitting exercise clothes, encouraging fans to dress in whatever they like and feel comfortable in.

And her latest shot isn’t the only swimwear image she has shared during the current sizzling weather.

Last week, Vorderman treated her fans to a picture of her doing a spot of DIY while wearing a brown bikini top and some shorts.

The star - who won Rear of the Year twice, in 2011 and 2014 – captioned the saucy image: “Ready for action”.

She added the hashtags “#screwdriver”, “#bikinibuilder” and “#bloominhothere”.
