Carolina Forest is getting a new apartment complex.
Arcadia at Carolina Forest is a 320 unit multifamily complex in development close to the Publix at 2170 Oakheart Road.
The 341,470 rentable square foot complex will be at 121 Hera Way and the project is scheduled for completion in 2025, according to the developer’s website.
Construction is already underway at the site, with tower built already surrounded by scaffolding and workers.
The project is backed by several Florida-based companies. Live Oak Contracting, a general contracting firm based in Jacksonville Fla., is participating in site work, as a banner with the company’s name is on the property.
Live Oak Contracting lists the value of Arcadia at Carolina Forest at about $63 million on its website, and the company did not return a request for comment prior to publication.
Third Lake Development, a Tampa Fla. company specializing in southeastern real estate, is the project developer while the investment advisory firm Third Lake Partners owns Arcadia at Carolina Forest.
The Arcadia at Carolina Forest property was purchased for $5.3 million in 2022 by TLV RE MF IV Myrtle Beach Owner LLC, according to Horry County Land Records.
The LLC’s address is the same as Third Lake Development’s in Tampa, Fla.
Third Lake did not return a request for comment before publication.
