Carolina Panthers to honor 10 high school football coaches during game against Falcons

On Sunday, the Carolina Panthers will recognize 10 high school football coaches throughout the Carolinas.

All 10 were named a Panthers’ coach of the week award winner during the 2023 season. The award recognizes “the outstanding contributions made by high school football coaches in the lives of their players, their communities and the development of football at the grassroots level.”

The school where each coach works will receive a $1,000 grant to support its athletic department, and all 10 coaches will recognized in an on-field presentation during the Panthers’ game with the Falcons at Bank of America Stadium.

“The Carolina Panthers and GMC are proud to recognize some of the region’s most outstanding high school football coaches who give tirelessly to their teams, schools and communities,” said Riley Fields, Carolina Panthers Director of Community Relations. “The impact made by these coaches goes well beyond the playing field.”
