If you want to get your first glimpses of Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold competing for the starting quarterback job for the Carolina Panthers, look no further than Spartanburg and Wofford College.

The Carolina Panthers are set to return to Wofford's football practice fields for the 27th time beginning Wednesday, July 27.

The Panthers will host 12 training camp practices that are free and open to the public, including the Saturday, July 30, Back Together Saturday event at Gibbs Stadium. Saturday's event has been moved up to 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. due to the threat of inclement weather, according to a press release from OneSpartanburg, Inc. Gates open at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Fan elements will remain in place for Saturday's free event, according to a press release from the Panthers. The day includes on-field performances by Panthers entertainment groups including the TopCats and Sir Purr, and activities such as a balloon artist, food trucks, interactive games and sponsor activations. This year’s event also marks the return of autograph opportunities. Players will be available after practice to sign autographs for fans in the stands.
