Winter Love Island is mere weeks away, and although we're 100% keen on dedicating our lives to it, there's one person who has to be even more committed. Caroline Flack will be back to present the show for the sixth series, which will be filmed in South Africa in January.

And as much as she's probably very excited, Caroline has also revealed she's slightly dreading it - namely because of all the travelling that will come with filming the show a long haul flight away. "I’m going on Saturday to do promo," the 40-year-old told Metro. "I haven’t packed anything yet. I always pack last minute."

The presenter then went on to explain how busy her timetable was; juggling her hosting duties on the main show in South Africa, with filming Love Island: Aftersun in the UK.

"It’s a 13 hour flight [to South Africa]," she continued. "I’ve got to go back and forth the whole time to do Aftersun over here. [It's] a long old flight just to do that walking!"

We love the walking, Caroline. This comes as MailOnline reported the first winter series would launch on January 8, for a six week run - two weeks shorter than the summer version.

Interestingly, series five contestant Yewande Biala has shared how she doesn't think the winter Love Island will work, because viewers won't feel the need to be so committed. [When] it’s once a year, you can’t miss it, you have to watch it [while] on Twitter." she said.

"Everyone is so hooked because you don’t want to miss that day. Whereas if it’s all the time, you’re like “It doesn’t matter, there’s going to be another one in two months’ time."
