HOLLAND — Local artist and downtown business owner Carolyn Stich is back with another Holland-themed holiday card, this time called “The Jolly Snowman.”

The card is commissioned annually by the Holland Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, with sales supporting a local nonprofit.

This year’s card shows a snowman taking a holiday selfie in front of Holland’s Big Red Lighthouse with the message, “Warmest Wishes from Big Red’s Winter Wonderland,” printed on the inside.

“It’s that time of year, and I am thrilled to have created the Christmas card again,” Stich wrote in a release. "Isn’t it fun to imagine a snowman as our winter lighthouse keeper?"

Stich has made the cards for over 20 years. They can be purchased exclusively at the Holland Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Carolyn Stich Studio, Van Wieren Hardware and during Holland's Kerstmarkt at Eighth Street Market Place.

“We wanted to create a holiday card that not only represents Carolyn’s festive spirit, but also share a piece of our local culture,” wrote Linda Hart, executive director of the Visitors Bureau.

Cards are $3 each, or $18 for a package of 10. Proceeds this year will go to Hands of Hope.
