Carrie Ann Inaba isn't letting all of the hearsay about her future on The Talk get in the way of posting what she wants on Instagram.

Just yesterday, a bombshell Page Six story broke that claimed the daytime talk show was looking into replacing Carrie Ann with a male cohost (CBS recently replaced Sharon Osbourne with Jerry O'Connell). Carrie Ann has been off The Talk since April after taking a leave of absence for her health and well-being.

"They haven’t announced it, but Carrie Ann is not returning, and they’ve been trying out comics and athletes to take her place," one source told the publication. A "source" also claimed that the heated incident involving Sheryl Underwood and Sharon earlier this year "did not sit well" with Carrie Ann, and she "didn't like that the show was starting to tackle more serious issues."

Carrie Anna's rep did not comment on the claims made in the Page Six story.

Instead of addressing the report directly, Carrie Ann seems to be carrying on with her Instagram Story posts. After the Page Six story broke, Carrie Ann posted inspiration quotes from John Lennon and Marcel Proust and asked fans to vote for which one resonated more with them.

In her second Instagram Story slide, Carrie Ann reshared a post from Sharon that happened to be of the Dancing With the Stars judge from August 7. While resharing Sharon's Instagram Stories post, Carrie Ann wrote, "Thank you my friend ... ❤️"

Right now, neither CBS nor The Talk have confirmed that Carrie Ann will be returning this fall. In mid-July, however, Carrie Ann revealed that "some news" about her future at the show would be revealed soon.

"As soon as I know what’s going on with The Talk I will let you know, I promise," Carrie Ann explained at the time, later adding "I look forward to sharing with you guys the news about The Talk."

Dancing With the Stars fans can see Carrie Ann judge yet another season of the ballroom dance competition starting September 20 on ABC.
