Carroll County Board Of Education Requests Gov. Hogan Rescind Mask Order For Schools

In a unanimous decision Monday, the Carroll County Board of Education approved a resolution requesting that Governor Larry Hogan adjust the state's indoor mask order to exclude schools.

- Thank you, Rachel. Well, no more masks in school. That's the hope from the Carroll County Board of Education. They are asking Governor Hogan to rescind the mask requirement for the end of the school year. The board says, according to the governor's order, the indoor mask mandate would be lifted as soon as 70% of adults in the state received at least one COVID vaccine dose. And that goal was met May 31.
