Carroll County schools seek to ditch face masks in schools

A couple of school board members in Carroll County don't think face masks should be required in schools, and they want permission from the governor to make a change. Now that schools have returned to in-person classes in all districts, the focus has turned to whether students and teachers should be forced to wear face masks. The effort has been picking up steam since last week, when the school board president, Marsha Herbert, made her appeal to the governor to totally unmask.
