Carson Wentz next team odds: Kansas City Chiefs favored, Arizona Cardinals given chance

NFL free agency speculation has been swirling around quarterback Carson Wentz since his release from the Washington Commanders.

Where could he end up?

We now have odds for his next team and they are very interesting.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the favorites to land Wentz, who threw for 1,755 yards and nine interceptions last season, completing 62.3% of his attempts, in odds released by OddsChecker.

It has the Super Bowl champions at +300 to acquire the QB, giving them a 25% implied chance to be his next team.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are +400 (20% chance in the odds, followed by the Las Vegas Raiders at +600 (14.3%).

Interesting, the Arizona Cardinals are one of four teams given +700 odds (12.5%) to be Wentz's destination in free agency, joining the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills.

Three other NFL teams are included in OddsChecker's odds: The New York Jets (+800, 11.1%), Houston Texans (+800, 11.1%) and New Orleans Saints (+1000, 9.1%).

Could Arizona be an option for Wentz?

The Cardinals are expected to be without Kyler Murray for some time next season, prompting Arizona to show up in some speculation as a potential landing spot for Wentz.

OddsChecker's odds had some interesting options for Wentz below the NFL teams.

It listed "any CFL team" and "any XFL team" both at +2000, giving each of those options an implied probability of 4.8%.
