Carver House project gets $100K donation from ADT Security

Baltimore high school students are getting a chance to restore some of the city's 15,000 abandoned and boarded-up homes thanks to a big corporate donation. For now, the Carver House at 2212 Presstman St. is nothing more than an empty shell. But it will soon become a learning lab for Carver Vocational-Technical High School students. The students are picking up skills in the school system's Career Technology Education program. ADT Security Services donated $100,000 to buy construction materials for the Carver project. This opportunity provides young people with financial assistance to make a living eventually and to make a difference.
