New CASA-Trinity mental health clinic now open in Elmira
ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – CASA Trinity’s new mental health clinic is now open in Elmira at a temporary location on West Water Street, with plans to relocate later in the year.
The clinic was opened on 244 West Water Street in November 2023 after the program was approved by the New York State Department of Mental Health. The clinic is located inside the BKA Financial building and will relocate to Judson Street later this year after the construction of a new CASA-Trinity residential treatment facility is completed.
New self-serve hot dog shop opens in Horseheads
CASA-Trinity’s mental health programs provide members of the community with community-based mental health treatment, including services for co-occurring disorders.
The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk-in hours will be available Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Services that are available at the clinic include:
Screening, assessment and diagnosis
Individual and group therapy
Patient-centered treatment planning
Outpatient mental health/substance use disorder
Peer and family support
Targeted case management
Medication management
Primary health screening and monitoring
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the clinic will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at its current location on West Water Street.
