Case against Joseph DeAngelo: Prosecutors ask for more DNA; defense files motions to dismiss

Several motions by both the defense and the prosecution in the Golden State Killer case were filed within the last week. Joseph James DeAngelo, 74, the alleged Golden State Killer and East Area Rapist, faces a trial for 26 counts, the most serious of those being murder. Since Monday, DeAngelo's defense team has filed two motions -- a motion to dismiss certain charges and an amended motion to dismiss. The biggest revelation in that filing is that DeAngelo has offered to plead guilty to the charges if he can get a lifetime sentence. Get the full story in the video above.
