Case of Quebec woman charged in the death of her three kids set to resume today
DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. - The case of a Quebec woman charged with killing her three young children is set to resume later today.
Sonia Blanchette faces three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of two-year-old Anais, four-year-old Loic and five-year-old Lorelie.
A judge was told in mid-December that more time was needed to determine whether Blanchette is fit to stand trial.
It is not clear whether Blanchette will be in court this morning.
The 33-year-old Blanchette has not entered a plea.
The children's bodies were found at her residence in early December in Drummondville, midway between Montreal and Quebec City.
