By now you've likely heard that television personality Alison Hammond will be the new co-host of The Great British Bake Off. Now that the news has begun to settle, Hammond's soon-to-be cast members have shared their reactions—and "elated" would be an understatement.

Noel Fielding, who will serve as co-host alongside Hammond, had one of the most colorful responses of the bunch.

"It gives me so much pleasure to welcome @alisonhammond55 into the tent. I’m absolutely pumped we are working together. We are gonna spend the whole time giggling like naughty school kids. The bakers are gonna love you to bits," he wrote in the caption to a photo of Hammond.

The welcome wagon continued with Paul Hollywood, who also shared a photo of Hammond on Instagram and included an enthusiastic note. "@alisonhammond55 welcome!!!!! looking forward to seeing you in the tent, you’re going to love it X," Hollywood wrote.

The Great British Bake Off veteran judge Prue Leith was one of the thousands who left their congratulations under Hammond's post announcing her new role.

"Huge congratulations Alison, you will be magnificent and I can’t wait for your infectious laugh to be ringing through the tent," Leith wrote.

The excitement is certainly contagious, and across social media fans have expressed their eagerness to see Hammond on the 13th season of the series. Although Twitter is filled with congrats and well wishes, this Pimp My Ride comparison has truly captured viewers' excitement about the upgrade.
