Deputy presidential chief-of-staff Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that the Russian army had launched nine missiles at the city and its surroundings. One of the missiles hit a hotel in the central park.

“There is significant destruction there, people remain under the rubble,” he wrote on Telegram messenger.
