Casualty viewers heartbroken for Ruby after her sister Violette dies
It was another emotionally-charged episode of Casualty tonight (February 22) as Ruby's sister Violette relapsed and got rushed into hospital.
Violette tried her best to get clean at rehab and get her baby daughter, Harmony, back from her sister Ruby after she took over custody. Things seemed to be looking up for her, as she was even refusing to take methadone.
When Ruby met her at rehab, she had been complaining of a backache and Ruby put it down to a symptom of withdrawal, however it turned out to be much more serious than they first thought.
She had suffered from a large aortic aneurysm, which sent her into cardiac arrest.
