Cat rescued with screw in her paw will be available for adoption

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Humane Society of Tampa Bay rescued a cat who had a screw logged into her paw on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
In a post shared on the Humane Society’s Facebook page, the organization said the team brought the cat in for surgery early Thursday morning.

The cat, named Daisy, was unable to use her front paw.
Veterinarians were able to remove the screw and treat Daisy’s wounds successfully.
The Humane Society said Daisy will be available for adoption after she has healed.
