Catalan Nationalists Burn Portrait of King During Royal Visit to Barcelona

Leaders of the Catalan National Assembly burned a portrait of Spain’s King Felipe VI at a demonstration protesting the monarch’s visit to Barcelona on October 9.

Hundreds of separatists gathered in protest as King Felipe VI and Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez visited the city to attend an awards ceremony at Barcelona New Economy Week, Spanish media# said.
