Catalytic converters stolen from multiple cars

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police are investigating the theft of nine catalytic converters from a car lot in Schuylkill County.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, on January 27 troopers were called to EZ Rent to Own on Route 61 in North Manheim Township for a report of a catalytic converter theft.

Arrest made after $1,000 retail theft in Luzerne County

It was learned that nine catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles in the late hours of January 26.

Troopers stated the parts were stolen from the following vehicles:

  • Cheverolet Equinox

  • Chevrolet Traverse

  • 3 Jeep Compass

  • Subaru Outback

  • GM Terrain

  • Kia Sorento

  • Jeep Liberty
