Catholic bishops again consider policies to address sex abuse

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops returned to Baltimore this week for its spring meeting, and the sex abuse scandal is dominating the agenda. The spring meeting is a do-over, in a way, offering a chance for American church leaders to finish what they started in November. The bishops are taking up a package of reforms in response to the sex abuse scandal that were tabled, at the Vatican's request, during their conference in Baltimore last November.
