Catholic Charities Gives Out 1,000 Food Bags In WaHi, The Bronx

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Those in Washington Heights and the Bronx who may be struggling during the coronavirus pandemic can pick up food Thursday and Friday from Catholic Charities.

The organization and its Alianza Youth Services branch will be handing out hundreds of bags of food in an effort to help seniors and Latinx communities that have been hit particularly hard during the pandemic.

Catholic Charities will give out 400 bags in Washington Heights each day and 300 and 200 bags in the two Bronx distributions.
