Catriona Gray admits breakup with Clint Bondad
25 Feb – Catriona Gray recently admitted that she is now single again, after breaking up with her boyfriend of six years, Clint Bondad.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the reigning Miss Universe, who appeared on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" recently, shared that the issue in their relationship had started even before she won the coveted crown.
"It was really tough going through the competition with that happening at the same time but I had to keep reminding myself that this was a once in a lifetime opportunity," she said.
Gray also admitted that they just outgrew each other after being together for so long. It is noted that the couple have been together since the beauty queen was 18.
"Whether that be in your personal or in your career, sometimes you just outgrow each other. If we're meant to be together, maybe it'd happen in the future but as of right now, no," she said.
Gray said that she would always be grateful for Bondad as they had always been supportive of each other. However, she admitted that they are still not on speaking terms with each other for now.
"I think we're both figuring out our things," she added.
